Bingos, Casinos and other community involvement opportunities are some of the major sources of revenue for our association. It is important that all families be involved with these fundraising activities in order to continue to support our association.
In order to fulfill each families Volunteer Bond obligation, they must earn 2 'credits' per family per season. These credits may be in the form of Bingos, Casinos, or other association approved volunteer commitments (examples may include: Spectrum, Canada Day, Pre-season Evaluations, Chuck Wagon Races, Tournament Game Slots, Parade etc.)
One undated cheque for $400, payable to the Medicine Hat Ringette Association is required at the time of registration. This cheque will not be cashed if you work your scheduled volunteer obligations. However, if you do not work your shift (or find a replacement worker) your cheque will be cashed immediately. It is your responsibility to find a replacement worker should the need arise.
Players will not be able to participate in any On Ice Ringette activities (including Evaluations, Practices, or Games) until these cheques have been received by MHRA.
